I was a friend of Shirley's for many years, from mid-80's. We lived 1 1/2 blks. apart in
Anthem Ranch. Shirley and I both had been elem. music teachers in Boulder Schools.
Before I went back to teaching, I subbed for Shirley at Whittier Elementary. And we were in Sigma Alpha Iota together. Shirley was dear to both my husband, Keith, who
passed away Oct. 18. 2017, and to me. I have tried to phone Mary Williams many times without success to personally give my condolences, but have been unable to reach her. Shirley was a very bright light in the world. And she loved her family to pieces! May her soul rest in peace. She is now with Carl!
