Obituary of Elizabeth Christensen

Elizabeth Jin Min Christensen passed away June 16th, 2021 in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She was 49. Born in South Korea on September 30th, 1972, Elizabeth was raised in Boulder by her parents, Carl C. Christensen and Katherine D. Christensen. During high school, she excelled as catcher on the softball team and point guard on the basketball squad. After graduating as a Knight in 1990, Elizabeth studied at the University of Colorado, earning a B.A. in History in 1994. Throughout her life, she cherished the opportunity to work with young children. Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Carl and Katherine, her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl S. Christensen (of Florida), her maternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. B.R. Biorn (of Minnesota), and her brothers, Mark B. Christensen (of New York) and Paul S. Christensen (of New Hampshire). A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will take place Friday, June 25th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Three Dog Tavern, 3390 W. 32nd Avenue, Denver 80211.
