I was on the board of directors of the Denver Press Club when Dan was an active member. He was often a gentle arbitrator of many lively conversations that would pop up among the members. I enjoyed those conversations and compassion that Dan shared during those evenings at the club. He will be missed by the long-time members of the club who had the privilege of knowing him.
