Ann Schaffer was a wonderful lady and one of great class. We were friends at the hospital when she was a dedicated volunteer and I was the CEO. Many times when her scheduled person to be interviewed on 'Petticoat Patter' cancelled or was unable to participate, she would call and I would be her last minute stand-in. We had great fun talking about the hospital and health issues. She was well informed about the hospital. In addition to her being a volunteer, her husband was a valued member of the Hospital Board. I always enjoyed her interviews and the enthusiasm she projected. She was a dear and talented friend and I will always admire her and her contribution to the Boulder community.
