Bill was one of my favorite people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. I was one of his CNAs, in fact I was his first CNA with Interim Healthcare in Lafayette, Colorado. Even though I was there to help Bill, he ended up helping me through some really tough times in my life. He would always read me his beautiful poems that he wrote, we spent most of our time cleaning and organizing his house and I loved listening to all the memories/stories he shared with me. I remember, one day after a shift with Bill, my car wouldn’t start and Bill tried everything he knew how to help me but to no avail. Luckily my parents live close by and my mom came to get me from Bill’s house. He greeted my mom so warmly, like he had known her for years, and had nothing but nice things to say. I’ve been a CNA for over 5 years, and I have never had someone care so deeply for me. He truly was an angel on Earth, and I’m so glad to have had the privilege of not only knowing him, but calling him my friend.
