Mary, Mike, Tom, Judy, I'm sorry I couldn't make the service this afternoon, the day piled on me with a neighbor in the hospital. Nevertheless, I want to say what a privilege is was to know your folks. They were both so welcoming and happy to see me, and that was very special. Unlike many parents of friends who disappeared from my life, I was always able to see your folks and their bright smiles in oftentimes, the most unexpected places, like Costco. Sincere wishes.
