Obituary of Mary Hill

Mary Margaret Hill June 16, 1938 ~ September 24, 2013 Mary Margaret Hill, 75, of Boulder, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 surrounded by her family at TRU Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, 1820 15th Street Boulder, Colorado. A reception will follow the service at the church. Mary was born on June 16th, 1938 to Phil Anderson and Lillian (Stratmoen) Anderson, in Staples, Minnesota. She grew up in Staples, graduating from Staples high school in 1956, attended St. Olaf College, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1960. In September 1960, she married Curtis Hill, also of Staples. They lived in Seattle, WA, Detroit, MI, Chicago IL, and Washington D.C. before moving to Boulder in 1983.Mary and Curt have two sons, Jim (Alison) Hill of Bellevue, Washington, and Dave (Amy) Hill of Santa Monica, California. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Phil and Lillian Anderson. She is survived by her husband Curt, her sons Jim and Dave, her grandsons Mason and Walker, and her granddaughter Avery.
