Obituary of Lillian Smith

Lillian Smith of Boulder died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence. She was 86.

Lillian was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1932 to William and Louise (Downey) Drummons. She attended the School of Performing Arts in New York City, and moved to Colorado in the 1950s, where she married Edgar Smith on October 4, 1954, in Denver.

For 32 years, Lillian worked as a Military personnel Management Specialist in the Air Force Finance Center, and was alter a Program Manager at Senior, Inc.

Lillian is survived by her husband Edgar of Boulder, CO; son Richard Smith of Las Vegas NV; and daughter Gina Smith Mangham of Atlanta, GA.

A public viewing will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, July 9 at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 2425 Colorado Ave., Boulder, CO 80302, prior to a Service in Celebration of Lillian's Life at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the service. Afterwards, a Committal Service will be held at 2:15 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3689 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80235, staging area C.
