So sad to hear the news, and want to express my support to the family. I didn't know Mel well, but was inspired by his kindness, spirit, and creativity. I will be contributing to a recording session here in North Carolina today, playing my Mel Wrangham #6 acoustic guitar, an absolutely beautiful-looking and sounding instrument I've owned for more than twenty years. I continue to sing the praises of Mel's exceptional luthiery work to all the musicians who admire this fine instrument. God Bless to Mr. Wrangham and his family.
