I just learned of the loss of a dear old friend from Chicago. Elizabeth was one of the most wonderful women I have had the pleasure of knowing. Whether we were quietly sharing our deepest secrets or dancing on the bar at the Clearwater, her joy of life and caring heart gave me memories I will always hold close. My condolences to her family.

Elizabeth was my neighbor for the 2.5 years I lived in Boulder. We talked often and she loved to show me pictures of her family, all her amazing plants, and tell me the best stories about bands and other adventures. She gifted me a book almost as soon as she found out I like sci-fi, and when I moved she gave me one of her smaller plants. She was always happy to come over and say hi to me and my usually grumpy cat (he loved her, too). She is the best neighbor I've had.

I worked with Elizabeth for over 20 years. She was an amazing nurse, a good friend, and a wild woman who danced her way around the world. She will be missed by her many friends in Boulder. I send my condolences to Bruce, who was a great support to her, and to her family, whom she loved.

I knew Elizabeth from the West Senior Center...she would come to the lunch program run by Meals on Wheels, and her presence was known to many - what a force of nature! She will be missed for her kindness, friendship and subtle exuberance ... the Chicago broads are the best!
Peace to her family -

I loved visiting Elizabeth two years ago . I was her nurse and she would show me all her photo books . She would tell me that no one cared about those years and years of photo books. I would tell her how those picture books are gifts to generations to come and will grow more special as time goes on. So dear Elizabeth’s kids . Take good care of those photo books .
So happy she lived to see the cubs win !!!! She was not afraid to die and leaves so much for us all to admire .
You are not forgotten Elizabeth !!! She
