I knew Bob Taylor as the Personnel Manager at Bell Laboratories. I remembering interviewing in November 1976 at Bell Labs and receiving good support from Bob. When I hired on in January 1977, Bob was helpful and enthusiastic. He always worked to make it a positive work environment. Thanks to his friends for running the obituary in the Boulder Daily Camera so I was able to learn about his passing. I spread the word to some other Bell Labs alumni who wondered what happened to Bob.
