Obituary of Colby Harmon
Colby Harmon lost his battle with cancer on March 22nd, 2016 in Boulder, CO. He was 75.
Colby was a great, passionate father. His greatest joy was being a dad. Coming in at a close second to fatherhood, however, was running. Colby ran marathons up until age 70. In addition to his own running, Colby was very active in the community, volunteering at local running and cycling events.
Colby is survived by his sisters, Joan Mathews (Narragansett, RI), Delight Reese and husband, Donald (Hampstead, NH), Carol Faneuf (Bossier City, LA), and Judy Lindsay and husband, Lisle (Wrentham, MA), his son, Andy Harmon and wife, Jenny (Boulder, CO), his grandchildren, Isla and Gehrig, as well as a few nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service. A life-long animal lover, Colby would request that any memorial donations go to the Boulder Humane Society (boulderhumane.org). Thank you for your kind thoughts.
