Obituary of Jeanne Powell O'Donnell

Jeanne Powell O'Donnell, of Lafayette, formerly of Boulder, died Wed. March 9, 2016. She was 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 715 Cabrini Drive, Lafayette. A reception will follow the mass at the church. Private family graveside services will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. She was born to Henry Raymond and Emilie (Lawrence) Powell, on May 12, 1925, in Paris France. She married the late John Joseph "Jack" O'Donnell III, December 20th, 1947. Jeanne attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York earning her degree in Home Economics. She was also a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Cornell. She was the former owner and partner at Stitch and Company. Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lafayette and a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Boulder. She was a former member of the Boulder Country Club, she was also member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Boulder Republican Women, Boulder Tri Delta Alumni Group. Survivors; daughter, Patricia O'Donnell of Longmont, sons, William Lawrence (Lee) O'Donnell of Niwot, CO, Christopher Manning (Kathy) O'Donnell of Albuquerque, N.M., four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
