Richard and I went to PS 33 together, and for some years were best friend school chums, I used to walk him home to Springfield Blvd en route to 217 St.. And I am saddened to learn of his passing, not having had the opportunity to reconnect. Even in those young days, when we know so little, there was a crisp integrity.
