Obituary of Margaret Rieker

Margaret Jane Rieker, 93, a resident of Boulder, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Boulder Community Hospital. A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery, 3016 Kalmia Ave. in Boulder. Margaret was born in Sparta, North Carolina on March 20, 1920 to George Cheek and Mervyn (Jones) Cheek. She graduated from Sparta High School in Sparta, North Carolina. Margaret continued her studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Margaret J. Rieker was always placing others needs before her own. She will be greatly missed. Margaret is survived by her son Scott (Ann) Rieker, of Boulder, CO; and her son Lance (Gisell) Rieker, of Longmont, CO; grandson Robert Rieker of Boulder, CO.
