Obituary of Catheryn Eleanor Pennington

Catheryn Eleanor Pennington of Boulder died February 6th, 2015, at her residence. She was 97. A memorial service and celebration of Catheryn’s life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of Boulder, 3700 Baseline Road, Boulder Colorado 80303 Catheryn was born to Harvey and Ruth Whitlow on April 20, 1917 in Eaton Colorado. She graduated from Eaton High School and continued her education at Ottawa University, Kansas. In 1937 she married Earl Edward Pennington She went on to receive her Masters and Ph. D from Northern Colorado in Greeley. She started teaching Elementary at Rouse Elementary School in 1960 and retired in 1980. She is survived by her son; Thomas E. Pennington, grandchildren; Elizabeth Kaplan, of Encinitas, CA, and John Bradley Pennington of Longmont, CO, and also three great grandchildren.
