Obituary of David Anthony Cardinale

David Anthony Cardinale of Erie, formerly of Boulder, CO died at TRU Community Care Hospice in Louisville on Thursday, January 29, 2015. He was 41. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for David at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lafayette, 715 Cabrini Drive Lafayette, CO, on Thursday February 5, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow the Mass at the church. Private family burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Erie at a later date. David was born to Joseph and Mary Jean (Gulick) Cardinale on August 15, 1973 in Westminster, CO. He developed a love for music which led him to study Music Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. He attended Erie Elementary school, Erie High school and graduated from Skyline High School in Longmont. He went on to receive a BA in Music Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He is survived by his parents Joe and Mary Jean of Erie. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rose and Joseph Cardinale, of Pueblo, CO; his maternal grandparents Catherine and Everett Gulick, of Phoenix, AZ; one brother Aaron Matthew Cardinale of Erie. David was always a passionate musician and donations may be made in his name to the Longmont Symphony Orchestra: 519 Main Street, Longmont, CO 80501.
