Obituary of Patricia Rogers

Patricia V. Rogers, 78, of Thornton, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Good Samaritan Exempla in Lafayette. A private family graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 12 at Santa Fe National Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Patricia's Life at 1:30 PM at the American Legion Post 49, 11005 Central Ave NE Albuquerque, NM 87123. Patricia was born March 4, 1935 in Surrey, England to William and Ada (Alderson) Major. She married Nelson Rogers in England on May 5, 1955. Nelson preceded her in death in 1985. Grammee will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Nelson, parents, brother Kit and sister Pam. Patricia is survived by her sons Michael Rogers (Susan) of Albuquerque, NM and William Rogers (Amy) of Thornton, CO; daughter Connie Shaffer (Brad) of Broomfield, CO; brothers Fred, Reg, Pete and Raymond, all of England; sisters Lorna of Alabama and Cora and Linda of England; 6 grandchildren, Cole (Brenda), Cara, Kellie, Bryan, Morgan and Lauren; 3 great-grandchildren, Addison, Laque and Traxton.
