Obituary of Velva Pauline Pyatt

Velva Pauline Pyatt, 90 of Boulder, CO, formerly of Pilot Knobb, MO, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at ManorCare Health Service in Boulder. A Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mahan Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr. Festus, MO, followed by a Funeral Service at the mortuary chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Services will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, MO. Velva was born on July 7, 1924 in Potosi, MO to Lawrence E. and Vera Eula (Gardener) Trokey. She met William Clair Pyatt and they married on June 1, 1946 in Elvins, MO. William preceded her in death. “Mom, Grandma & Gigi: your smile and laughter filled every room you entered, your kind and loving heart resonated with everyone you met, you were a beautiful flower that bloomed bright, and your spirit lives on in each of us.” Velva is survived by daughters, Claudia R.
