Obituary of Bonnie Brooks

Bonnie J. Brooks, 72, formerly of Boulder, passed away in her Erie home on July 1st. Born July 25th, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, IA, Bonnie eventually came to Colorado and graduated from Boulder High School. She married Dennis E. Brooks in Boulder on December 28th, 1963. A devoted mother and wife, Bonnie cherished time spent with friends and family. Further, she was an avid golfer, a rabid CU Buff fan, and she loved her church. Bonnie enjoyed her memberships with Atonement Lutheran Church, Buffalo Belles, and the Boulder High Class Reunion Committee. She also shared her time and caring heart as a volunteer at Boulder Community Hospital. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, in 2008, as well as both her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her son, Ryan (Melissa) Brooks of Erie, her daughter, Krista (Kenneth) Ailey of Erie, her brother, Ken ((Judy) Beach of Phoenix, her sister, Carolyn Beach of Boulder, and five grandchildren: Spencer, Peter, and Stephanie Brooks; Alex and Zach Ailey.
