Obituary of Margot Wright

Margot Wright, 85 of Boulder died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her residence at Sunrise Senior Living in Boulder. Margot was born to Dewitt Talmadge Pilchard and Mable Minerva Church on February 4, 1929 in Long Beach, CA. She married Albert Wallis Wright on August 28, 1949 in Pocatello, ID. She loved dancing & golf. She spent hours enjoying both at the old Flatirons Country Club. She was an ardent reader, and was even known to argue politics on occasion. She had a quirky sense of humor, and an infectious laugh; both of which she passed on to her daughters. She comes from a long line of strong willed women; and seems to have passed that legacy on to her daughters; granddaughters and her great granddaughter. She will be missed. Margot is preceded in death by: her husband, Bert Wright; sister, Joan Winn and brother, Dan Pilchard. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Roger) Davis of Grand Junction and Elizabeth Reed of Westminster. Also survived by her sister, Nancy Mackey, Clarkston, WA and 4 grandchildren: Danny (Brittiany) Davis, Grand Junction; Valerie (Chris) Davis Manspeaker, Highlands Ranch; Audrey Reed, Grand Junction and Hamilton Reed, Boston, MA; and granddaughter, Brooke Manspeaker, Highlands Ranch.
